Located in the Gary Public Library and Cultural Center, the MakerSpace at the Gary Public Library (GPL) is a dynamic and collaborative learning environment where GPL patrons (Makers) can engage in hands-on learning experiences, access innovative technology to foster innovation, and empower themselves with new skills.

The MakerSpace offers a diverse range of experiences, catering to both seasoned Makers and those just starting out.  And the best part is it's all free for GPL library card holders!  In the lab you will find tools and equipment for the ultimate crafter and DIY enthusiast.  This is also where STEAM-focused technology takes center stage.  You'll find 3D printers, Cricut Smart Cutting Machines, and sewing machines, along with an assortment of handy tools and equipment where you can transform your designs into reality!  Click here for MakerSpace Usage Guidelines.  Access/Waiver form available at the Gary Public Library and Cultural Center.
